The Swindon Borough Council created the Kimmerfields Project to bring colour into the center of Swindon. I was commissioned by the Council and Artsite, who helped manage the project, to create a mural inspired by the local fauna and flora. Swindon has plenty of parks and lakes, so I wanted to capture both Swans and Robins in my piece, as animals that we can regularly find in the local parks.
The piece is 10m x 2.5m, and was painted using emulsion paint and Posca markers (for linework and details).
